Long & Detailed Description
Sleek Build & Immersive Display
The Blackview Tab 16 Pro is designed to deliver an immersive and premium tablet experience. It sports an 11-inch IPS LCD full-view display with a 1200 × 1920 pixel resolution (16:10 aspect ratio) and offers an ~83% screen-to-body ratio, giving you more display area and fewer distractions. At just 7.45 mm thickness and weighing approximately 503 g, it features a slim and aluminum alloy metal build that feels light in hand while still looking premium. Blackview
It also supports Widevine L1 certification, allowing streaming in full HD on services that require DRM compliance. Eye comfort modes (Reading Mode, Night Light, Dark Mode) help reduce strain during long viewing sessions.
Performance, Memory & Storage
Under the hood, the Tab 16 Pro uses a Unisoc Tiger T616 octa-core chipset (12nm), combining 2 Cortex-A75 cores at up to ~2.0 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 cores. This delivers capable performance for everyday apps, browsing, media consumption, virtualization tasks, and moderate multitasking.
Memory options include 8 GB physical RAM with expansion (virtual RAM / “expansion RAM”) bringing the effective RAM up to ~24 GB in some variants. Storage is generous—256 GB internal—and there is support for external TF / microSD card expansion up to 1 TB, so you can store lots of media, apps, and documents without worrying about space.
Cameras & Audio
The rear camera setup is dual: a 13 MP main sensor paired with a 2 MP depth camera for portrait shots and bokeh effects. The front selfie camera is 8 MP, good for video calls, conferencing, and social media. Both front and back support 1080p video.
For audio, the Tab 16 Pro is equipped with dual-BOX / quad-speaker stereo setup, delivering richer mid and high tones, improving the media and video-watching experience.
Battery & Charging
Battery life is one of its stronger suits. It has a 7700 mAh battery, which per manufacturer estimates (lab or mixed use) provides up to ~18 hours of daily use. Charging is via 18 W wired charging. While 18 W isn’t blazing fast, the large capacity means fewer charging interruptions.
Connectivity, Software & Extra Features
The tablet runs on Android 14 with Blackview’s custom overlay DokeOS_P (version 4.0). It includes useful tools for productivity: PC Mode (which allows wireless keyboard & mouse support), split screen (Split View 2.0), stylus pen included for note-taking or drawing, and features for better privacy and convenience (such as face unlock). Blackview
Connectivity is well-rounded: dual-SIM or hybrid SIM/microSD slot, WiFi 5 (2.4/5 GHz), GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo for navigation, Bluetooth, etc.
